Antoni Gaudí, arquitecto célebre en la ciudad, comienza en 1882 con el grandioso proyecto de la construcción de la Sagrada Familia. Actualmente continúa en construcción, con previsión de que finalice la edificación en 2026.

Qué se puede ver en la Sagrada Familia

Este monumento Patrimonio Mundial de la Unesco en el 2005, embelesa con su grandiosa construcción a todo aquel que la visita. Con tu entrada puedes acceder a la Basílica y el Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia.

En el exterior llaman la atención sus tres fachadas monumentales, cada una de ellas representan los tres momentos más importantes de la vida de Jesucristo; su nacimiento, su pasión, su muerte, su resurrección y su gloria.

Horarios

Noviembre a febrero: de 9:00 a 18:00 horas.
Marzo: de 9:00 a 19:00 horas.
Abril a septiembre: de 9:00 a 20:00 horas.
Octubre: de 09:00 a 19:00 horas.
25 y 26 de diciembre y 1 y 6 de enero: de 09:00 a 14:00 horas.

Cómo llegar a la Sagrada Familia

Dirección: Carrer de Mallorca, 401, 08013 Barcelona.

El transporte público de Barcelona está muy bien conectado, por lo que puedes utilizar:

Metro: L2 o L5 hacia Sagrada Familia.
Autobús: líneas 18, 33, 33, 43, 44, 50, 53, B20 o B24.

La costosa construcción de la Sagrada Familia

Hace 135 años la Sagrada Familia, ubicada en Barcelona, España; comenzaba a tomar forma colocando la primera piedra del templo. Este proyecto fue obra del arquitecto Antoni Gaudí, que por encargo de la burguesía asumió la creación de este monumento, tan famoso en la actualidad.

La construcción de la Sagrada Familia continua activa actualmente, pero ahora mismo se puede decir que se ha completado un 70% de la estructura. Se prevé que, en 2026 la edificación de las seis torres quede finalizada. Estas torres son:

La torre de la Virgen María: con 138 metros de altura y 19 niveles.
Las torres de los evangelistas: está compuesta por la de Mateo, la de Juan y las de Marcos y Lucas. Se prevé que alcancen los 135 metros de altura y 13 niveles.
La torre de Jesucristo: la más importante de todas, hasta ella se podrá acceder al primer nivel mediante unas escaleras de caracol de piedra y un ascensor.
